The world suddenly feels so blue,
Makes me feel like I have no clue.

Friends, family - faces around me change so fast,
Its only the memories that last.

The winds are bitter and cold,
Make me want to tighten my hold.

The tighter my memories I try to clasp,
Faster life seems to be slipping from my grasp.

Faster than I can comprehend,
Parts of my life disappear and fall behind.
